Freeholder Candidates Scot DeCristofaro and George Zallie, along with Surrogate Candidate Christine Leone-Zwilling were on hand Tuesday night for a fundraiser hosted by Dilworth Paxon. The event hosted over 75 people in whom the candidates spent time with each person and listening to them about the problems that face our county, and were listening to the idea of what type of legacy our generation will leave behind? As the candidates were speaking it was brought to their attention that when comparing Camden County to other counties and areas in the region it is quiet obvious that the county is lacking something. Both George and Scot who own businesses understand the problems real businesses and regular citizens face in Camden County and New Jersey. As they gazed out toward Camden County they noticed as did all the people at the event that one of the tallest if not the tallest building in Camden City is the government building which houses the many forms of government symbolizing that the largest enterprise in Camden County is Government not the private sector.
How much of your pay goes toward paying for programs that seem to go nowhere? How many times have you looked at your pay check only to see more money was take out for the government and how many times have you heard politically connected companies awarded contracts?
